The best way to get to know another facet of Brussels and to see the city from the water. During these trips (45 min.) the various functions of the canal will be discussed and attention will be drawn to the importance of the canal for the capital.

Departure by coach from Brussels, guided visit of the historical centre of Antwerp or free time in the city. Subsequently, boat trip on the river Scheldt and the Maritime Canal. Finally, arrival in Brussels. We will sail through the locks of Wintam and Zemst and visit Rupelmonde, native city of the renowned mapmaker Mercator.

This trip is a combination of boat and bus. During this boat trip we will not only discover the Scheldt and its tides, but also the Brussels-Scheldt Maritime Canal, also known as the Willebroek Canal. We will sail through the locks of Zemst and Wintam and visit Rupelmonde, the native town of the renowned mapmaker Mercator. 2012 is the year of Mercator!
