Reports 2008
- Trainings of nautic guides:
Thursday 18/11/2008 and 19/02/2009
Brussels by Water and his partners benefited the winterseason to provide
trainings to their guides and guides in formation of nautic scientics.
They also let them discover the channels and rivers of Brussels, Walloon
and Flemich Brabant as well the ones of Hainaut. These trainings were
a great opportunity to
meet local touristic partners and the administrators of the waterways.

- Openbedrijvendag
(Open Day for Enterprises): Sunday 5 October 2008
On the occasion of Openbedrijvendag the ‘canal shuttle’
was used to transport visitors to the various participating enterprises
along the canal – and this for a whole day long. This perfectly
proves that the
canal can play a role in transporting people from one place to another…

Saturday 22 March 2008
On the occasion of the ‘Feest van het Water’ (‘Water
Day’) the ‘canal shuttle’ transported passengers between
the Béco Wharf (Havenlaan, near Tour & Taxis) and the water
treatment plant of Brussels-Noord. This canal shuttle is some sort of
‘public transport service’ on the canal.
